Greece was indeed completely out of shape in this euro and really missed two of its key players. Although with the amazing comeback against Slovenia and the performance against Spain (despite we lost with the way everybody saw) i am pretty happy. Next year if we have Kostas Koufos, Fotsis and Schortsianitis will be in shape, we will be at least in the top 3 in the Olympics

I am glad that neutral people agree. The Greek team was not in its best shape in this tournament, they missed two key players (Fotsis and Sofoklis), and they had to play the semi-final with only 16 hours rest against the hosts who had a two-full-day rest. And still they would have played in the final if the referees were decent! Clear evidence of a Great team! Honour to the Greek Gods and shame to the spaniards who even deployed theatrics to get fouls in front of their home ground!

They unfairly progressed to the final by cheating, bribing the referees and attacking our players like punks. The Spaniards may be good players but they are not ATHLETES. Additionally, they arranged the time of our game against Slovenia and that of the semifinal so that our team had as little as possible time to rest. Russia did an excellent job in exposing these overestimated clowns.
