Yeah, the bed & breakfast thing is immaterial. The punchline is when Dorothy mistakenly said "Wode Island" instead of "Rhode Island," which is probably how Dorothy pronounced it as a kid when she had the speech impediment.As for Barbara Walters, she's often made fun of for pronouncing her Rs like Ws. For example, Saturday Night Live once had a recurring character called Baba Wawa, which was a spoof on her.
