I'm unsure it's meant to be interpreted in a negative way. I wonder if it's a way of saying that by *only* being a girl, rather than being in a derogatory sense, it's in a sense of endearment, it speaks of belief and recieving of God as a girl. What I'm saying is that by God *only* being a girl, it's not something that people should be frightened of recieving and/or understanding, it's attempting to take away the fear surrounding God and encourage acceptance of God, no matter the shape or form.

Wow. My heart truly breaks for the people in this video.... I don't think God has a true gender but we refer to him as male because in most languages we refer to males as a more dominant gender (not meaning that in any sexist way) It is very degrading however to refer to him as a girl... I mean in the song they say she's ONLY a girl. That's pretty sad.

spiritmaster, I'm aware that the bible is a compilation of many works. When I used "written by man" I ment it was written by mortals here on earth. I'm sure the bible is wrong in many ways (But I support some good morales the bible contains). For example, a lot written in it is from people who have claimed to have "spoken to god" when in reality, they were probably either lying, insane, or high. I'm not saying the bible is bad, I'm just saying don't believe everything it says.
