I do fear this is just like the "Global Cooling" of the 70s, but as long as we don't go crazy and invest in solar/wind technologies that aren't efficiently developed and stick to weening ourselves off our oil addiction, it might be good for us anyways.Time will tell, as always. Not sure who's line graph to believe at the moment.

Cosmic rays increase, temp. decrease.Cosmic rays decrease, temp. increase. Warm oceans dissolve CO2 and release it when it warms. CO2 follows temp. fluctuations by an average of 800 yrs. due to the difference in oceanic and atmospheric densities. Also, polar bear pop. has increased by 300% since 1970 due to laws restricting hunting. The debate is over? My friends, the debate has just begun.

Since 2000, temperatures have decreased.2006 was the mildest hurricane season in 20 yrs. The 1920,s and 50s had some of the warmest yrs. on record in the last century.Records show that ice has been increasing by an average of 6 ft. per yr. in greenland. Two indepedent studies by NASA and NOAA show corrolation over 100 yr. study of solar activity and temp. Danish meteorological institute studies show direct relation of sunspots and temp. over 400 yrs.Proxy data supports this.

Thomas Peterson of the National Climatic Data Center surveyed dozens of peer-reviewed scientific articles from 1965- 1979 and found that only seven supported global cooling, while 44 predicted warming. "There was no scientific consensus in the 1970s that the Earth was headed into an imminent ice age. A review of the literature suggests that, to the contrary, greenhouse warming even then dominated scientists' thinking about the most important forces shaping Earth's climate on human time scales."

"The debate about whether there is a global warming signal now is over, at least for rational people" - Tim Barnettthe study examined more than seven million observations of variables in the world's oceans, collected by NOAA, and compared the patterns with those that are predicted by computer models of various potential causes of climate change.Natural variation in the Earth's climate, or changes in solar activity or volcanic eruptions could not explain the data collected in the real world.

I admit that I listen to the the IPCC and other experts in the field. Not to do so would be like not listening to your doctor if he says you have cancer and need to have it removed. With the July 2007 release of the revised statement by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, no remaining scientific body of national or international standing is known to reject the basic findings of human influence on recent climate.

Thousands of Climatologist? Did you know that many of the people who signed that study were not even scientist. One was a gynecologist. haha. This global warming crap is the second biggest scam in human history. Of course the first biggest is religion. That one is the biggest B.S. story ever told. They sold that crap so well they even got out of paying taxes. Damn I need a good B.S. story. It was all about money and power, just like global warming.

The ice ages show that temperature can determine CO2 as well as CO2 driving temperature. Some skeptics not scientists claim that the relation is one way, that temperature determines CO2 levels but CO2 levels do not affect temperature. While the rises in CO2 a few hundred years after the start of warming periods can only be explained by rising temperatures, the full extent of the temperature increases over the following 4000 years can only be explained by the rise in CO2 levels.

Your Climate Myth which is which is one of many propagated by Exxon Mobile does not challenge the idea that more CO2 heats the planet.Basic physics tells us that gases with this property trap heat radiating from the Earth. Also the melting of ice lags behind the beginning of interglacial periods by far more than the rises in CO2.In the past century humans have taken over the carbon cycle and now dominate the year-to-year atmospheric changes. Thus CO2 has now become a "forcing."

You really are a Far-Left Global Warming nut. You go from video to video with the same speech. Confront this inconvenient fact: While Co2 and temperature are highly correlated, it is TEMPERATURE that leads and Co2 follows. ALGORE knows this but could only bring himself to describe the relationship as "COMPLEX" in his movie. All you green gone-jobs just hate carbons and those who profit from them. What's more, you are cynically willing to deprive the developing world of oil & coal as well.

so what about global warming in the 20's? you guy talk alot about "theories" and "concsensus" but what about facts?....why does the mesia of this phony religion fly around in a private jet, ride in suv's, live in mansions that use 40 times the power than the average U.S. home, all while making millions from his b.s. carbon credits that HE sells and then tell us that we need to scale back OUR lifestyles. the only consensus here has to do with the gross hypocracy of the left. you are a fascist:)

The theory that global warming is being caused by greenhouse gases has been around for almost 40 years. It has nothing to do with the global cooling theory which was briefly around and discarded 30 years ago. It has been verified again and again by thousands of climatologists and scientists. It is the only theory to have this kind of support in the scientific community. The consensus is in.Get over it.Being a Global Warming skeptic is kind of like being a a skeptic of Air Quality Warnings.

hey why don't you try having a little intelectual honesty and/or curiosity and take a good look at history. in the 20's people were freaking out because glasciers were melting, warm water species were being spotted up near the arctic cirle, etc. in the 70's enviornmentalists were screaming and crying about global cooling and wanted to spread ash and soot over the ice caps. now the same idiots and crying and lying about "man made" global warming. WAKE UP YOU FUCKING ZOMBIES!

Although im sure those death threats were genuine, this report is shamelessly miss representing green activists and also making innacurate vast sweeping statements about liberals. This is propaganda at its worse form. Those people certainly have issues and should be arrested, but anyone watching this video I urge you to realise they have nothing to do with the vast majority of liberals and activists
