Nasa's original report on temperatures was wrong, they screwed up on correcting for Y2K and restored the wrong data stream from their "thermometer network". When corrected, it was discovered that 1934, not 1998 was the hottest year on record for the last 1,000 years. The real temperature records for recent years show that our current temperatures are even cooler than the 1998 "El nino" (excuse spelling), meaning it's cooled since then.

Acid rain has been attenuated in the developed countries by banning high sulphur coal. China now has the acid rain problem. Too much low quality coal and too high demand. And how many times have you heard news stories that are immdeiately linked to climate change? There was one the other week when a fire chief claimed to know that global warming will cause more bush fires in the future. That's like a weather man putting out fires! He hasn't got as clue really about anything else than tomorrow's weather, and then only half the time he's right, but he always claims he knows further ahead!

Renewables are so completely inefficient. Maybe in the future with research the renewable industry, which is now getting lots of money because of GW might be worth it. But for now they are only worth the cost because the world is going to end!Britain has tons of coal, not much oil left and the same for gas, and no urianium.
