as a british sniper for the last 5 yrs the best way to make a ghillie suit is to get hessian thread sandbags or buy a roll. get a mesh ghillie vest thread each hole with about 8 inchs of thread. then bury it for a while.. the elastic is for natural cam for different surroundings.
