Those are a few prominent defenders who played in Best's era and I'm sure Ronaldo wouldn't have to play against the likes of Bobby Moore every game. Looking at this video defending IN GENERAL was very poor back then. If you look at C.Ronaldo's highlights see how hard he has to work and how quick he has to be with his feet in order to get by defenders. In this video defenders are just running at Best and all he does is make one little cut to get by them.
