Music helps you relax. Especially before big events. Michael Phelps does it right before every swimming competition. I play college basketball and every single one of my teammates listens to music before a game. It calms our nerves as well as pump us up. By this we are reactive to the things around us. I feel better and as if my mind is clear before a game when i listen to music. It's the same thing with soldiers in the middle east. If Tupac and Snoop calm them down, why critisize? let them be!!
