I live in a part of the U.S. that has the highest concentrations of Brazilians in North America, probably the world outside Brazil itself. Exaggerations going on here. Probably people unfamilar with Brazilians or Latin Americans (Australians, Europeans) find them exotic. I don't, but I grew up around many Latinos and Brazilians.
