The NHS does an alright job though, my step-dad was diagnosed with cancer last November - he began treatment within the month, his treatment had finished in 4 months. Weekly chemotherapy and two weeks of radiotherapy - all free. He'd had the cancer for nearly 5 years apparently.

The people would have to wait months in Canada just to be seen by the doctor. This one person didn't know he had Cancer. His appointment was months away but, he went to the United States and learned that if he waited for the appointment, he would've died. That socialized medication for ya...

Socialism is the current political system used by Cuba and most of Europe. It's been working here for decades, and even though the system isn't perfect, it seems to work well enough to stop poor people dying and giving everyone a free education.

Socialism creates selfishness within people, promotes laziness and give criminals who would sexually abuse children no jail time. I could go on with the problems of socialism... That's a place I wouldn't want to live in or let it happen where I live.
