Remember, just a part of the ball needs to cross a part of the plate for it to be a strike....and at that age group, you need to call those pitches strikes or else you'll be there all night.

Only time he can be called out for being in catchers way is if the catcher is trying to throw someone that is stealing out at second or third, and right there he was in the box not over the plate, the catcher just made a bad throw. Even if he was over the plate with no one on base he can't be called out.
