I like the debates tested in Sport Science. I like watching Sport Science.I like the fact that various tests are conducted.I DON"T like that only one test subject was used for the various tests offered. (in this case why not have a baseball batter & a softball batter try the tests as opposed to only testing with a baseball batter)I DON"T like their method employed when arriving at conclusions. (even though sometimes I still end up agreeing with their final verdict)

Also consider1) A baseball player missed the softball pitch. However, I'm sure a softball batter would miss a baseball pitch. Neither party is adapted nor adjusted to the other party's style. Hence they miss mostly because they're not use to it.2) Why only use the fastball? Try hitting a knuckle ball, curve ball, or slider; they're MUCH different. But still I do agree that softball pitches are harder to hit. (mainly because the pitcher is closer to homeplate.)I like the way sport

2 FALSE tests:1) A baseball batter could hit the baseball, but why conduct the tests again, but use a softball batter instead?2) As quoted (1:26 - 1:32) "The harder it hits, the harder it is to hit". THAT IS WRONG. Fouling a ball is still "hitting" a ball. In fact, fouling is actually a temporary strategy used in baseball. BUT I AGREE that:1) a rising ball is harder to hit. 2) there is less reaction time in softball ("4:45 - 5:20")Overall, it is harder to hit a softball than a baseball.

ok a softball is about twice as big as a baseball and is bright yellow, a baseball is so much harder to see because it smaller and white, i guarantee if they have some softball pitcher come in and try to hit a 95 mph fastball they wont even touch it and boarderfever is right, the only way to make it fair is to have a softball player try to his a baseball and a baseball player try and his a softball

This is stupidSure it is hard to hit a baseball going fast but they also forgot the movementthey should have compared the movement of a baseball and a softballYou can throw 95 mph but if you have no movement on your pitches your going to rocked. Not saying softball is easy or anythingsoftball is just as hard as baseball but this test is really dumb

to make the tests fair you gotta get jennie to pitch from 60 feet 6 inches. get a "pro" softball player to hit Adam Jorgensons fastball. To see if softball really is better then baseball.

They should've brought in a pro softball player also to make the tests fair. No matter the results baseball is the better sport, there is no MLS.

I dont no if the results are accurate because the diamond back player never saw a whip pitch before its totally different he has seen the fast pitch though get somebody who has seen whip pitch try and hit off her

since they have MLB and we have pro softball that is on at like 4am for one day out of a month. even College baseball coaches have said that softball is very hard and they give respect to the girls and any people who compete in it. im not saying i want to keep arguing which sport is better because you guys will never listen so please stop dissing the sport and learn how to respect a female athlete.

give her some credit. softball is just as difficult as baseball. its not an easy sport. and im definately not saying baseball isnt hard. but i mean come on. they proved it so accept it. im annoyed with all these high egos of you baseball players. Girls who play fastpitch and especially olympic athletes deserve some credit. we work our asses off and dont get nearly enough respect as baseball players do

suck it up boys. ive been playing fastpitch softball and club for so many years. its pathetic how even after they scientifically prove that it's harder to hit a softball that you guys are still complaining. i think it's HILARIOUS how you guys say that girls could not hit a baseball if thrown to us. i've hit baseballs plenty of times solidly along with other competative softball players.

I agree. They should also have a softball batter try to hit the baseball. guarantee she would not hit the baseball. they are basically having somebody try a sport they dont play and when they dont succeed they think its because the sports are harder, not that they r different. BTW it was so slanted

Check this. There's a secret aerosol program going on worldwide causing thick overcast every day! It's chemicals. I filmed it myself (my chan). Search for "chemtrails", "Dont talk about the weather", "Endgame HQ". We need to wake up and wake others to stop this!

Minor leaguer, major leaguer, what have you. Either way, he's been trained his entire life to hit a baseball thrown over-hand. Now if he'd been trained his whole life to hit a softball thrown under-hand then he would probably be able to hit a softball just as well as he currently hits a baseball. I'm not saying I know truly which is harder to hit, but, as a baseball player, I think this expirement was extremely slanted.
