I'd forgotten about this... I think I only saw the pilot (was there a telemovie?). I didn't remember the theme being so cool... it really reminds me of the Dick Tracy and Batman (Burton) scores... was this actually Danny Elfman doing the theme?! It's a pretty cool intro! Plus, Amanda Pays... maybe I DO need to try and give this another chance! :D

To me seeing this intro every tuesday's back in 1992 when I was like 10 years and having a hard childhood mean a lot... my family had a hard time those times... and this show gave courage to overcome those events. My favorite show ever, my DVD order arrives in my country by next week!!.

Yeah, it was good, but they made it too dark, while everything about The Flash screamed color. Still, a good show that didn't last long enough.

Awesome theme. I remember this show when I was a kid, I loved it. But I didn't remember John Wesley Shipp... I thought Flash was Bruce Campbell. Campbell was Brisco County Junior instead.Another cool 90's TV show that didn't last long enough

actually when this show was on ,it was just about the time the gulf war started. in the time slot it was in, people honestly didn't get a chance to watch it. then they finally moved to a different time slot but it was to late. it was officially released on dvd a year or so ago. got mine so get yours.PEACE!

I remember the movie. I was just a little kid and I loved it. You have to admit that the series was awesome but still nothing compared to the movie!

was ok. has so much potential though, they just cashed in on the popularity of the batman franchise at the time

One of Danny Elfman's best themes! Never saw the show though.

This was a good series, honestly. They took the music along the same lines as the Batman movie from 1989; they were looking for similar success. Problem was it was so expensive to make....Had this come on 10 years later, it would have lasted longer. and yeah, Shipp was good as Barry Allen...don't mind with THAT build, he looked more like a Superman than Flash. Still, it had heart, and used some of the good villians. If they update it, it could be done right. Or a Flash movie! Yeah, boy..
