Gus G. was originally in Dream Evil until he left a few years back to join Firewind. They are both AWESOME bands and if you like Firewind you will most likely like Dream Evil.

i agree with you who started metal had classical/jazz/blues background which enabled them to create music with musical sense but most of the new bands learnt by covering the older ones which prevented them from acquiring enuf musical depth

when did bands HAVE to scream in metal? metal started this way, with singing. metal was all about the instruments, mainly the guitar, now its just about screaming loud. i do like screaming but you have to admit the instruments have become nothing but quickly executed open and barre chords.
