The TPI is very loud on those cars. You can really hear it at about 3500rpms.

The market for muscle cars is going down. The rich guys had their fun. Not knocking musclecars but they are 30-40 year technology. The problem isn't legit collector cars it's the price for ordinary, very common non special cars are priced way too high. I saw an ad for a 78 granada for $5k. WHY? Any car 20 yaers or older people consider collector cars and ask outrageous amounts for.

yea. my friend knows some body with a 66 Coronet i think it was. 426 HEMI car. origanal. that hemi was built dude. 800 horses. he launched it at 3500 and snapped both motormounts. its badass. my nabor has a 68 Coronet RT. sum1 offered him 10 grand he didnt sell. only like 10,289 of them made or some small number like that. even less with 440 autos. 106k miles. its all original

Funny you mention the Coronet. A guy at my high school had a mint '66 Coronet 500 fastback, metallic copper with Cragar SS rims. This was in 1979 when the car was considered junkyard materiel on styling alone so everyone thought he was goofy. I liked it. Obviously he was way ahead of his time, it's a rare classic now and considered (with the 68+ Chargers) one of Mopar's best lookers.

Yeah that was the one, set a record for all muscle cars. Seems to have attracted attention (and value) to similar mopars. There ia a Youtube video on the 71 Indy 500 Challenger that crashed on raceday and there was a lot of discussion on that year's engines and the values of them.

idk. there was a 71 Hemi Convertible Cuda. been a dragster since it was bought brand new. all origanal. the options list is PACKED. they sold it for 3million a year or so back on Barrett Jackson

Didn't a Cuda hemi converible sell for $1.5 million last year?anyway for the space in cu.ft. I think a better investment would be original Star Wars figurines... but then you'd be a DOLL collector so F that.

seriously. a 70 Hemi Cuda with all the options was like 4600 brand new back then. hell if u were a millionaire back then. wooo. hell yea dude. i like the 20 car garage idea. all hemis a 440 six packs and 340 Demons n dart Swingers. not to mention a few others. 69 Trans Am. 69 Camaro Copo 427. 70 Camaro Baldwin Motion. Gto Judge 400. 70 cuda Hemi. 68 Coronet RT has to be one of my favorite cars. theres one down the street rottin away. 106k miles.
