Well with electric motors you get 100% of your torque at 1 Rpm. thats why it burns out and takes off like it does

"This is the only electric motor cycle that goes over 150 mph" Stock Hayabusa with the governor removed 200+. Hes not mentioning anything about top end speed here, im going out on a limb but i dont think its going to exceed the 200 barrier.

Err, how? A stock hayabusa's only just over half the horsepower of Killacycle. (The Killacycle team are looking at making a landspeed record version, actually. Should be interesting!)

not just that, that thing is running A123 systems new cells!! that's a 60C discharge rate!coupled with a 90% efficiency of a brushless motor with neodynium magnets.vs30% efficient big block supercharged V8...hmmm100% fuel+air in, 70% wasted on noise and heat

the power is more instant than any dragster, its ther as soon as you touch the throttle

i never said im against this, i'm nt a green person atall lolz. but yeah in future it should balance out. as for now all so called green cars are actually causing more damage in long run due to the long process in making the batteriespeace

lol I was joking. But still, I don't think global warming should not be our top priority right now. Most people realize that as technology advances, it will because more and more economically viable to choose the eco-friendly option. I look forward to those days. Right now, however, we should pump as much CO2 into the atmosphere as we like, and have fun doing it. This self-deprecating attitude we have towards harming the environment is unhealthy for the mind.

Global warming is bullshit. Volcanoes account for over 90% of the world's greenhouse gasses. Riding a few drag bikes is NOT going to make any real difference.

First off, this bike is AWSOME!!! Hydrogen powered electric fuel cells are the way of the future. Some people argue that they would be too volatile, but look at gasoline, it's extremely volatile, and the construction of a hydrogen cell is actually stronger than a normal gas tank.

ELECTRIC propulsion is the future. It's is WAY easier to make batteries, than extract and compress hydrogen than as i've read earlier here, "Hydrogen isn't the solution to anything, unless we are talking nuclear fusion" -PolybunNuclear fusion is at least 20-50 years away in civilian proposed technology of everyday use.Batteries are now, and current...this is where it is going and this is where it will be for the next 20-30 years, maybe more...fact..

Obviously this bike is running against gasoline vehicles and not top fuel. Top fuel dragsters are now reaching 330 mph in 1/4 mile races. Electric vehicles have the potential though, after all it is what bullet trains run on. Comes down to the limits of batteries.
