Check the Rims in this video. Those rims only come with the sport package Z. You can not get those rims if you do not order the sport package. Nissan does not allow you to buy those rims separately without buying the Sport Pkg. Now you have to spend 35k+ just to beat or keep up with a mustang, camaro, or Challenger. I'm not saying the Z is bad, but is overpriced.

well if that did happen then what are we comparing? AWD is better than RWD? which is 'duh' obvious. AWD will always have the upper hand when it comes to better launches and wet tracks. So pitting a AWD vs. RWD stock for stock for 0-60 is kinda pointless. Not bashing your post, just saying it would be pointless.

A possible 5.0 litre going back into the mustangs... That would b sick for sure... As said by many only .8 seconds difference acrosss the board, not to bad all cars held up decently... Now im not ticking up for anybody but the 370Z dosnt have back seats... cutting down on weight against a mustang, but whatever, .3 seconds can be how good a driver is as well...I am a mustang fan, but i would go for north american muscle before these gay ass imports...

Idiots using this video to put down Genesis. Look at the difference between the speed. 5.5 sec was slowest and 4.7 was fastest. The difference? 0.8 seconds. Are you so stupid that you'd use the 0.8 difference on your choice of cars? I'd be damned if I was going to pay thousands of dollars more for a Z370 or a Mustang GT so I can go 0.8 seconds faster on a quarter mile race. Morons...

2009 wrx (just the wrx, not even the sti) gets 0-60 in 4.7 seconds which is better then the mustang and as good as 370z. The catch is that the wrx is alot cheaper and has the AWD advantage...I think the wrx should have been amongst the cars that are competition for the genisis

Not to rain on your parade or anybody elses, but here in texas the two common cars for people are the 370z base or the 370z touring. Finding the 370z with the sports package is a rarity. Also, if you need proof of this go to carmax and see. The sports package come with a special set of rims that cannot be changed out. Last, the Viscious LSD comes with the sports package and with that being in mind most people are NOT buying any of the sports Packages. Hence, no 4 sec time and close to the GC

For Hyundai's very first rear wheel drive sports coupe, I think they did a phenomenal job. The Nissan Z cars go back to the 1970s and the Mustang goes back to the 1960's while the Genesis Coupe is still in its first generation. If they can do this well the first time around, think of what they can do in the years to come.
