They did this to me too, when I called 911 because my mom was being beat by my stepdad. I was about 10 years old and nobody came for half an hour, and my mom was severely injured... Stupid ass people can't come fast enough ugh this pisses me off!

But this happened to me once too. I came home and my dad (a heart patient) was passed out in the living room. I called 911 and it took them 20 MINUTES to get to my house. Luckily my dad had just fallen and was knocked unconcious...but still. I know the 911 can be painfully slow.

This happened to me. My mother was suffering from an asthma attack, so my sister and I start driving my mom to the hospital, and as were driving, I called to police, and we pull over to start CPR. I guess I was pannicking, and got hung up on by the dispatcer. Then I called back, and ask if they can send paramedics. They did, about 1/2 hour later they show up, and then ask my 8 month pregnant sister to give my mom cpr, because they didn't have a mask on site to preform cpr. R.I.P. Mommy.
