You don't know that.. Death still could have existed without Slayer being a band.. Slayer was one of Chuck Shuldners later influences. You could probably say if it weren't for Maiden or Kiss then Death wouldn't have existed, as that is 2 bands that influenced him early on in life. But I dunno..
