You are an idiot! In this video it's too blurry to even clearly see the play. Have you ever seen it on HD?You prolly haven't. 1988, NFC Championship. I've seen that game more than once. You can clearly see the ball bounce off his chest and then in comes Green's hit. I ain't taking away his talent cuz he is a great player! But you my friend are the blind one! Watch it on HD and then call me blind. lol and all you who gave me a thumbs down...lol you all are blind as well! dumb ass blind fool's!!!

I had the privilege to be at the '87 NFC championship game with my Dad. I can't even describe the emotion in the stadium when Darrell broke up that pass to Nelson to seal the game and send us to the SuperBowl. Darrell Green represents everything that is good about sports. What a great guy and a class act. A lot of today's players could really learn a thing or two from DG. A true hero as both a player and a person, thanks for the memories Darrell!!!

Ok I love Darrell Green, he is one of my favorite DBs in NFL history simply because I love fast cornerbacks. But honestly, they give him credit for that incompletion when really the receiver just didn't catch it. lol The ball had completely bounced off the players chest and was on its way to the grass way before Green ever hit him...lol

Okay people of the internet. When you mean "you are", the word is "you're"... not "your".

Well, that is a concern. Greg Olsen at TE is going to be his go-to-guy. The Bears have 2 solid TE's in Desmond Clarke and Greg Olsen. Matt Forte had 63 grabs as a rookie and over 1,200 yards rushing. WR Earl Bennett went to college with Cutler. I am concerned about the OL, although we picked up Pace. Cutler, however, has mobility and has a quick release. He rarely gets sacked. I am more down on our D than our offense right now. I am concerned with our pass rush and secondary.

I'm not a Bears fan but I have a lot of respect for that franchise but other then maybe Hester who I think is a hybrid. Who does Cutler have to throw to & can they protect him?

Your Football is about matchups but it's also about personal, coaching, scheme & quite frankly the Injury Report you know who's healthy & available.

Like I said before even with the great pass rush of the 46 Bears the Redskins had the Hogs which meant you didn't have to double team against anybody other then LT & if you if you could pass protect for a short time you pick apart there secondary which is what happen. I mean how many REC's did Art Monk have in that game. Plus the Redskins could stuff the run & consistently get to the QB with just there DL. Pretty cool huh. The 86 Bears loss to a great Football Team @ home.

Your right McMahon did have Pro Bowl talent & if was more discipline & took better care of himself he would of been a great QB but we'll never know. Your right about the Giants but they did have a Pro Bowl QB in Phil Simms, an excellent OL, a excellent Power Run game with Joe Morris etc, good possesion WR's with Mark Ingram etc, a deep threat in Lionel Manual & a HF Caliber TE in Mark Bavaro.

I am excited about the Bears vs Packers this weekend. Cutler looked sharp in his last pre-season game (although they don't mean shit). Forte looks like a future star if he stays healthy. I am most worried about the Defense, especially the secondary. With Mike Brown gone, there is no leadership back there.

Football is about matchups as well. The Bears really matched up well with the Giants and I believe may have beaten them in 86 NFC title game with a healthy McMahon and McKinnon. McKinnon caught 2 TD's in the 85 playoff victory against the Giants. In the season opener in 87, the Bears dominated a completely healthy Giants team with Tomczak for Christ sake and then the strike happened 2 games later. In that game, McKinnon returned a punt for a TD and the Bears D only allowed 1 TD.

Your right about the 83 Redskins that was one that got away & I would still take that team over the 91 Redskins & they didn't even win the SB. Give me a break the 86 Redskins were 13-5 with 3 of those losses coming against the hated SB Champion Giants. We play NYG next Sunday can't wait. That Redskin team was loaded on both sides of the ball & had opportunities in the 86 NFC Champ game but didn't come true. That loss was the 1st stop on the Road to Super Bowl 22 for the Redskins.

But the Bottom line is that the Redskins got 3 rings in that ERA and upset the Bears 2 years in a row in soldier field. I have to give credit where credit is due. The Bears had some great years in the 40's when they dominated the Redskins, but that was before both of our times.
