To NCMACT: this is dangdut, a traditional yet very popular folk music in Indonesia. Dangdut refers to the imitation of the sound of kendang (a kind of percussion instrument, it looks like djembe). In Indonesian's ears, the kendang sounds like "dang" and "dut". Thus kendang is the main instrument in dangdut. Dangdut's composition is influenced by the indian, arabic and traditional Indonesian and western musical instrument. Maybe that's why it sounds like south asian music. :)
