Bill made it famous @0:50 lol! Oh that's bad! For those who don't get the joke, a lot of programs tend to lock up and CTRL+ALT+DEL is the only way to stop the process (when pressing the close button doesn't work).Good stuff haha.

It's just a simple joke about Windows' reputation of locking up all the time. In other words, before Windows, this function was rarely used, but now it is used all the time.

Old Window systems used to be rather unstable, so one might think he was referring to that. "People always had to reboot Windows 95/98/ME". Joke's in when he saw Bill's expression and defining further that he actually meant the log on screen of NT (and not the unstable Windows'.

Either I don't get the joke, or it isn't very funny. Before MS Windows came about, CTRL+ALT+DEL used to mean "instant system reboot" so you would use it to reboot the machine when something went wrong (Microsoft or otherwise). Windows changed it to bring up the Task Manager instead. In this role, its use doesn't mean Microsoft software is crap, which I presume it what the joke is about. It's just a handy keyboard shortcut to the Task Manager (or whatever it's called these days).

LOL! perfect foot in mouth item and then back pedaling as fast as he can ... Have to admit it was a good one that he actually called to mind that ALT-CNTRL-DEL was used for NT Login. Still is used on Windows Server too for Login.
