ye, i am only 15 but i really have a passion for motorcycles, cars and engines alike. yep 4 strokes are a seriously different machine to a 2 stroke, i can basically ride my mates 110 4 stroke sitting backwards with my eyes shut, but i would never sacrifice my yz for it, when you hit that powerband the bike just comes into a world of its own. i do love the low end torque on 4 strokes though.in my opinion, i'd rather ride a 2 stroke, cant wait to get on the road with one!cheers-Alex

In my opinion owing alot of 4t's and 2t's since the age of 3, and im now 21 and a fully qualified machanic.... I would say, a 4t is easyer to control as the power deliverd is rather smooth compared to that of a 2t. A 2t is alot more brutal in the band and some big ones will tear you a new spleen lol.At the end of the day, phisicly 2ts are a more power for the same capacity due to how each engine fire's.Im glad to see another petrol head on youtube. i couldnt agree more. the crf 230 is only producing 19.3 bhp at standard and they weigh a lot for there size. my yz 125 weighs 87kg and is producing 42bhp, im not biased towards 2 strokes, 4 strokes have many outstanding features that a 2 stroke doesn't, but i love me 2t's!

thats what im doing to my 230 so it goes like a race bike but less problems and less rebuilds fuck getting a race bike

yeah true but im only spending like 500.00, painting it redueing the whole thing, rebuilding my engine myself. getting it bored out. so its bacially just a little project im throwing together

Often most 4t's are 1/3 of that of a 2 stroke power wise.Please you didnt answer my question... why are 4t's beter than 2t's?

I left school at 17 and started straight afterwords.Its is machanicly imposible to have a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke motor with the same capacity AND! power out put!I can go through in detail any part you do not fully understand and help you, but being baist is not the way we do it MATE
