If you watch the video closely, you'll see that the cop brought this entire incident upon himself and then killed a man; really doesn't matter if the suspect was an Alien, the cop was unjustified. The wimp, I mean COP, initiated this attack by his own fear as exhibited in his voice at 0:53 which was followed by his subsequent fear at 1:14 when he shot the suspect WHILE the suspect was Laterally moving away from the wimp, I mean the cop. The suspects attack was reactionary.

Sevaughn77 yeah i am a cop and believe me i know the alternatives to deadly force. officer presence, verbal direction, empty hand control soft/hard, intermediate weapon control and of course deadly force. if you watch the video the cop followed the force continuum to a T and one by one each level failed. mallory had an extensive, and very violent criminal history and spent the last 11 out of 15 years incarcerated. and contrary to what you think a jury found that the officer acted within the law.

One thing you notice about a lot these cop fight videos...is that most cops seems to be relatively out of shape and have no hand to hand skills to speak of when pepper spray, taser etc. doesn't work. They always end up having to use lethal force even if the suspect is unarmed, as was the case in this video.
