Sad that the fascinating Mithras cult/religion is very much misrepresented in this video. It's well worth a closer look, both in its own right and in its relationship to Christianity. The question if Christianity has been influenced by Mithraism is difficult to decide because Mithraism was a "secret" religion, and research is based on much speculation. Still... start with Wikipedia and continue with books. It's fascinating, even though it's not likely a "source" of Christianity!

Study Covenant Theology for a while and understand how God's word flows and works together holistically, and then get back to me.The new covenant brought by Jesus fulfilled the law of the old testament, bringing a new law of love and peace.
