Nope. This was from the 50th Anniversary re-issue back in 1990. If you look at the copyright, though, I guess you might say, for some strange reason, Disney didn't bother to put the year of that reissue beside the original release year. Get what I'm saying?

Did they have credits like that at the end of films back in the1940s?
> PolyBrow said on 08-01-2009 at 18:43:
I have these credits on my DVD copy of the film.

The RKO logo in the Intermission card was used for the ORIGINAL theatrical release of 'Fantasia.' It didn't appear for the 50th Anniversary of the movie in 1991.

THAT cresits in 40s? Not, it is a re-release.

I hear what you're saying about the new, upcoming, Disney Diamond Collection.
> daMoleKing said on 06-20-2009 at 04:09:
I also recall seeing a little RKO logo on the bottom of the intermission card.

This was my favorite movie when I was little. I remember wondering why there wasn't any music during the credits. :)

Yeah, I hear that Disney is re-releasing Snow White on a Diamond Edition DVD, as well as all the other Disney films released on Platinum Edition DVDs. The one I can't wait for is The Lion King. When it comes out, I'll have that and the Platinum Edition.
> PDS1990 said on 06-02-2009 at 19:54:
Dude, it's diamond. The platinum editions are phased out.
> PDS1990 said on 06-02-2009 at 19:54:
Doesn't anyone get what I'm saying? It is the DIAMOND edition of Fantasia on DVD in 2010.
> disneyfan85 said on 05-23-2009 at 15:51:
When I got the 60th Anniversary DVD, I sold the videotape version.

At about 2:29 there are a couple random beeps at the end. I always remember hearing something like that or a dial-up tone at the beginning or end of VHS tapes and not knowing what they were there for.
> AubreyMan62187 said on 04-26-2009 at 01:44:
can't wait until the Platinum Edition of Fantasia comes out next year; I'm definitely going to get it.
> zperra said on 04-10-2009 at 06:12:
Many of the videos I owned had a beeping noise in the begining. However, they sounded a little more like someone dialing a phone number. My cousin had this copy (I think). Ever since she showed it to me I've always wanted it but it's kinda hard to find movies like this in such a rual area.

My grandma used to have this cop of Fantasia, but my Mom gave it away.
> fanofmusicals said on 03-26-2009 at 23:58:
The footage of the musicians leaving actually comes from the intermission sequence, which was restored for the DVD. When the curtains closed, the FANTASIA title card would come up on the screen (which is where it originally appeared in the original release prints). The intermission would last about 15 minutes.

Beats me. That's the only video as far as I know that has this.

What was that beeping noise at the end?
