Lol who are u people? German empire? hahaha. Brazil was discovered by Perdo Alvarez the Cabral that was a portuguese navigator working for the portuguese crown. Do on the 18th century many european imigrants went to brazil, Italian, german, french whatever. So brazil its a melting pot just like the states. But the official language its portuguese. Gisele Bundchen speaks portuguese, doesnt speak german. Only in the south os brazil some people speak german, because many german people settled there
