For one reason, because most of the Bible prophesys about the end times HAVE ALREADY been fulfilled! We are indeed in the very last of the last days of the world, before the final battle of the Great Tribulation! The forming of the one world government is right around the corner, and the Bible prophesied that 2000 years ago - that this happening would usher in the Rapure (the taking away of all Christians, both dead and alive) then the 2nd coming of Christ!

To be honest with you I really couldn't care less, I just know that I don't have to believe in what I assume can only be a fictional character to live my life well. I'm sure that you would say that the Hindu religion is wrong, and in turn they would say yours is, therefore proving that religion is just a choice for people who need something to believe in, and holds no explanation of how we have come to be on the earth as it is incorrect.

Ok, then tell me this - why don't we have many different animals talking, just like the bar scene in "Star Wars". Why is man the only species that can speak with his vocal cords? There are MANY species much older than man, according to science, in fact MOST of them are, if not all!!! What kind of sense does that make from a purely evolutionary process?

But you're ignoring the fact that I don't believe that God created the universe. Also, just because something is 6000 years old doesn't mean its correct. At one point people thought the earth was flat, and thats been proved incorrect.

Are Harry Potter books close to 6000 years old?Look at it this way. If God is powerful enough to create the entire universe (and He is), then don't you think He could do the relatively minuscule task of getting man to write and compose the Bible just the way He wants it???

Repent (turn away from their repetitive sins), AND follow the teachings in the Bible for the rest of their lives! That's when a person becomes truly Born Again. We are all born as the property of satan, because of the original sin of Adam in the Garden of Eden. He sold us all down the river, and we have "sin nature" in our genes because it has been passed down from Adam. So that's why it was necessary for Jesus to come to earth in human form, to live a perfect life, willingly die on the cross, and be raised from the dead - to buy us back from satan! All anyone has to do is to believe this and then accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior......
