Obama didn't have any "great" ideas, all he had was slogans designed to move the clueless. I mean, "yes we can" or "hope" or "8 years of failed policies", where's the ideas? The idea of one payor health care, hmm I don't think he knows what he wants, first he's says to an AFL/CIO convention he's ALWAYS been in favor of a one payor health care system, and then later on while campaigning he's says he's never been in favor of a one payer health care system, does he know what he wants?

Well I was happy to see a candidate like Obama from my warm seat here in Europe. Because he is young, intelligent, witty and likable. And has good policy. And I think he "reflects the times". I wouldn't cast doubt on the validity of your US elections though.. the last one was I think the much more legitimate and clear than the Bush Jr. ones.I don't think McCain's problem was a "bad campaign". I think the problem was he really had no vision, no ideas. And Palin.But then I'm just a bystander..

We better hope Obama doesn't have to deal with the disasters Bush had to. We'll be in real trouble. Let's look at them, 9/11, Katrina, Rita, sub-prime market crash (fault of Fannie and Freddie not Bush). I'm amazed that Bush did as well as he did. Only a victim blames his position in life on the stock market. 1 year later & I have health care, but with the health care bill in congress, how much longer will I get to choose which health care insurance plan I want? Read the bill it's H.R. 3962 just do a search for it. Here's some tidbits, if the bill passes U can't change insurance companies or make changes to current plans. U MUST go with the gov't option. If U don't buy insurance U will be taxed $2400 as a fine for not having it. Enjoy!

Look into Franklin Raines & the millions he sucked out of Fannie Mae at tax payers expense.Then look up how Barney Frank refused to allow Fannie & Freddie to be regulated. O how true you are. Funniest thing is that Obama is about as black as Bush is. I'm reading his book dreams of my daddy and it's the biggest cry baby waaah book I've ever read. He made himself a victim at a very young, when he was sent to the very exclusive private Punahou college preparatory day school. In his book he talks about wanting to punch a white guy because this guy showed compassion for the struggles of black men. It seems with Obama, your damned if you do and damned if you don't.
