Karen Carpenter did indeed have the voice and the gift of a voice unlike any other. She would be 58 if she was still living today, but we can be happy to be able to listen to her music forever! An American Icon at it's best!

I'm not a theologian but it's a pretty safe bet that the angels stopped singing for a few years just to listen to her by herself.

Karen Carpenter really does have the all-time greatest female voice. She is so unique, and no one sounds like her. What a great loss.

So good. This is the kind of thing that inspired me to write a song for my little girl before she was born. I have it posted here on Youtube: "Kiley's Song"

Hehehe...yeah, 1408 made this song a little more famous than it already was. Shame that film ended so badly. It was ace for the first hour and then it just goes downhill after that. I expected much, much more.
