@DMac1712 Stafford is an incredible rookie, they just dont have the RB to throw defense off. Stafford/Johnson connection is easy to shut down.

He was one of the greatest college recievers I've ever seen in my life. If he had a better qb than Reggie Ball at the time they probably would've have won a National Championship. He was insane.

It's not Stafford. He'll turn around. Rookies always seem to suck when they play. Look at Payton Manning when he was a rookie, they were terrible just like the Lions. So, only time will tell.

The Lions are bad now.. but in 2-5 years they will be contenders. The have good LBs and DBs but they have no O or D line. Kevin Smith, Pettigrew, Stafford, and Johnson. They can be pretty good not to mention how many more early picks they might have.
