(part 3)And it was not Herbert Hoover that he "buddied" with. Herbert was the President. He knew J. Edgar Hoover, the head of the F B I , but Hoover knew, and kept files on, a lot of Hollywood personalities of the day.

(continuation of comment below)I agree that he probably did some things that he would rather not be known, but I do not think it was nearly to the extent as to the image he tried to portray. I recall the author tried to make the biggest deal over the fact that Disney changed his signature to match the company logo. Who cares? He wrote that Disney had arguments and disagreements with his staff. What CEO doesn't? But murder and dealings with the Mafia? Oh, good grief.

Just my guess, but I think you are probably basing a lot of this from the book that I believe was called "Walt Disney: Hollywood's Dark Prince". I read that book several years ago, but found it interesting that the author initially had, according to him, the approval of the Disney Co. to write the book, then he said the company changed their mind. At that point, it seems he was just mad at the Disney Co. and decided to write a book painting Disney in the worst possible light.

he deals directly with Mafia who murdered competitors and even his own employees, because he was buddy with the Herbert Hoover, he got away with alot of things, and grandpa Disney has a pension for little girls, read it up, they couldn't sweep those under the rug.

for your info Walt Disney was an absolute crook, it doesn't matter how much joy and Childhood memories disneyland studios brought to your family, but you shouldn't be praising a ruthless crook who commited murder countless or murder, bribery and blackmail to get his way, sorry Grandpa Walt was a sociopath, know the facts and sweet dreams.

Walt Disney is my role model, I love this man for what he has done for me and my family. The memories that I have as a child with my father and the memories I now have with my children is priceless. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Walter Disney. I thank you, my children thank you and most likely one day my grandchildren will thank you.
