the attached living heads in the midst of the suspended decapitations was eerie. the live heads are the most spooky

Hunfunny, you can say "Very elitist.." and I do feel sorry for you, but how could you be surprised? A lesson learned might be the best thing to bring back to your students! I'm an American art student living in London and I'm shocked to hear the inverse, that the others ALLOWED any photography at all ;>

"camera bag with a hole in it" haha! cool!I've been scolded a couple of times for taking photos at different places as well. It is quite annoying.

copyright laws are getting constricting on education...That's why the old "Camera bag with a hole in it" trick has become my forte.

I'll tell you what's annoying: I was in Venice for the Biennial--specifically to see the Nauman exhibit and to take back material/imagery to teach/show my high school students. The U.S. Pavilion (and the other Nauman exhibits in the city of Venice) were the only places in the ENTIRE International exhibition where videography and photography were not allowed. You can imagine how bummed I was when I arrived at all three Nauman locations to do a little "field work" for my classes. Very elitist...

I love this work. I've always thought that Bruce Nauman is one of the most innovative artists living today. IT's just so annoying watching people look at it.
