I don't think it has to do with this video, in particular. Many of the older documentaries made by this company don't have subtitles. I remember seeing a documentary on birth control in Japan that had no subtitles.

This very video itself seem to have been placed by someone who really don't want the truth to be told, because where were the subtitles and why was the english commentary only told from a non black view? All those percentages written in some of the comments mean nothing when you have a place like South Africa where 1% of the non black population rule the 99% black, it's not a matter of black or white, rich or poor, male or female, status or depravity, it's a matter of right and wrong.

After looking at this vid, I could hardly hold back tears, even though I know there's no room for it,because I personally know the day is coming, verysoon when the world will have to face a comingreparation movement that will make the civil rights movement seem like it was simplya child asking for desert, and it will start whereamerica started back in 1776. So folk of Brazil, India, and all whom are racially deprived, justice will soon arrive. and all

@marcellin20 Brazil is more mixed/colored than the United States. You have to remember the U.S is around 70% White. People forget to look at a country as a WHOLE. Around 30-40% of Brazilians are of mostly European blood. The rest are BLACKS (mulatto's,pardo, pure) whatever they try to classify themselves.

I had been in places in UK were it looks India or Pakistan but that do not make UK India or Palistan land. There are thousends of British homeless in London and that do not make UK a homeless people's land. Italian, French, Spanian and Portuguese migrated to Brazil are not blacks. Get lost moron.

Esse último comentário do rafaelsouzasp79 resume toda questão. The HUGE majority of people in Brazil really don't care about races[2]

> Matheus30741 said on 12-05-2009 at 02:51:

Discrimination in Brazil is mainly social. It's common to see black men dating white women and vice-versa. What's difficult is to see a POOR black man dating a RICH white woman and vice-versa. The HUGE majority of people in Brazil really don't care about races. As long as they are in the same social class. That's how it works.

If they are Brazilians, it's unlikely that they'll get offended for being asked about their ethnicity. Just be careful with racial stereotypes about Brazil, because we are frankly tired of being misjudged by foreigners who think Brazil is another version of South Africa.

> marcellin20 said on 12-01-2009 at 16:31:
just a question ask...I know some Brazilians who are on holiday here in my country and they look european, and some look mix like Mediterranean. Is it offensive to ask what their ethnicity or heritage is.? I know they are Brazilian as they all speak Portuguese to each other but was just curious about their heritage and ethnicity. The last thing I wana do is start a conversation of racial politics which isnt my intention.
