The most common accident in traffic with bike and car .i allrdy sick of it .Bikes overtake from the right ~_~ and cars turning or change their route without checking/using their turn indicators..

It's true ...car drivers sometimes don't look and even when they do ,they usually don't see the bike.I have had so many close calls ... Each time I kind of saw it coming and was able to react on time ...I guess you are right , the risk is the price to pay ... but sometimes you wonder ... should grandma or grandpa still be allowed to drive?

I agree with your point but some peeps shouldnt be riding bikes. I guess its the same you get bad drivers/riders in both. You have to learn to except that this will happen when you ride a bike. Its kind of like a unwritten contract. Cars will always pull out, car drivers will sometimes not look but you just have to learn to live with it. Theres alot of BAD riders too!

Fair play there are some real stupid people on this thread trying to make excuses for the car driver annabanna666 100's of bikers do this everyday you as a Car driver are told again and again to look in your mirrors and check over your shoulder before pulling out how did that rider stand a chance even at low speed with no indicators or indication that the car was going to pull out.As for ahendrickson1990, what an idiot of course leathers are 10 times better than jeans and a summer riding jacket

First of all, thats a shitty excuse to act like a douche bag, "I'm hot, I'm a pussy, I cant ride a bike." Second of all, why would to be in full leathers in 100 degrees. Riding jeans and a summer riding jacket would do just as good in an accident if you don't ride like an ass hole.

Some cars move over for filtering bikes, the rider probably thought that the mondeo/focus was doing that. Its when the car suddenly pulled out, without indicators and using its mirrors thoroughly enough, that the accident happened. you can even see the rider try to swerve slightly to avoid the car!

Well that wouldn't be too good because if you beat his ass then he could sue you because this is america!

People do use their mirrors it's just that they don't take the time to actually look around. When I'm doing U-turn or normal turns I use both my mirrors and look behind at my blinding spots. Often times there's always that one car that just appears out of no where after you look throughly.

I wish cars would use their MIRRORS (which for car drivers who don't know, are located on the sides of your cars, just in front of the front windows) and look out for bikers. I can see why the bike at the front carried on when the silver car was moving, as some more considerate car drivers will move over for filtering bikers, and I thank those drivers for doing so!For the rest of the drivers, filtering is LEGAL and its going to shorten the traffic jam; less bikes = more space in the queue!
