it's similar. but the okinawa version of it. which the Shamisen is a japanese version of the china San Xian, or 'three-string'.

sanshin is the stringed instrument the singer is using in this video. it literally means 'three strings' with a snake skin body. the title means 'the flower of sanshin'.
