Whether it should or should not be brewed by women may be open to discussion. According to Michael Jackson, British beer connosieur and reviewer, there are two convents in Germany that brew beer. One at Mallersdorf and another at Ursberg. Sister Doris was head brewer at Mallersdorf when Jackson wrote about her in his book, The New World Guide To Beer, copyright 1988. I would certainly like to sample their beers. Unfortunately I'm sure niether is exported.
