Lennon was such an under rated lead guitarist, its so damned rough and dirty...tells a much more interesting story than more technically correct players like Clapton for example...

These were classic moments and when you had to have real talent to be an iconic band. The Beatles were just that. Elvis rocked and was the King. Both did it the hard way. No flashy hidden stage tricks to over exagerate the imagination and inflate crowd approval. Elvis and the Beatles worked off sheer talent. Unlike the spin doctoring and studio perfected performances utilizing the the light and glitz to hide the fact some of the entertainers today can't sing without enhancement techniques!
