No one is really sure if it was suicide...accidental death more likely..he still had much success in front of him.

at 8:54 Brian Epstein who discovered these kids in a pub in Liverpool only a few years earlier watches the magnitude of what he built. As others took hold of the Beatles affairs, his role and influence diminished and in 1968 committed suicide. His suicide and the loss of his guidance, marks the beginning of the end for the Beatles for it is at that point where they begin to separate.

plutogirl, actually the internet would have helped us have them sooner...for a year EMI kept sending Beatle records (1963)to the US, capitol records, and the American guys said "sorry, not very good, you don't know how to make American records." stupid...the internet would have made the demand so immediate, so great, that those bone-headed Capitol executives would have known much sooner that they could NOT ignore those English creatures who were creating such a hysteria...or mania.

actually if they had the internet they wouldn't be nearly as big. The magic of the beatles and other huge bands in the 60's, was the fact that to so many teenagers around the world they had never seen or experienced anything like the beatles before, they couldn't download their songs for free, you had to be a committed fan, remember this is before satelites allowed live broadcasts around the world, to teenagers in america 4 boys from liverpool were strange and new. internet would kill it

If you like the music support the band. The Beatles are very close to beating Eminem for the best selling artist of the last decade, help put them over the top. They have remastered albums out that sound great. Help spread this message across Beatles posts on youtube.
