A talking point for the Democratic campaign is how the wealthies of Americans got a larger tax cut...well, they do pay more taxes so their percentage was going to be higher...do the math.

2000 till 2006 economy was fine. Over 1 yr ago: Consumer confidence stood at a 2.5 yr high, Reg gas sold for $2.19/gal, Unemp rate was 4.5%, Dow hit a record high 14,000+, Americans were living a good life.But we wanted change so in 2006 we voted in a liberal congress and we got change. Within the past year Consumer confidence=gone, Gas > $4/gal, Unemp=5.5%, Americans have seen their home equity drop $12 Tril, 1% of American homes are in foreclosure, DOW is losing $2.5 tril from stocks & bonds

The fame is hardly worth it. Do you see how much Presidents age during their presidencies? Thats from the stress. And while I don't know the exact current figure, as of a few years ago, a President only makes about $200,000 a year. Its good money, but they spend that on campaigns in a day.Don't get me wrong, I think anyone who votes for Obama is an idiot that can't think for themselves. But Obama is NOT running for fame/money.
