No....the Boomers were not responsible for the civil rights movement....it was the generation before you. During the civil rights movement you were still kids...you had no real voice or power to change anything. Lets be serious all these corrupt politicians...global warming..drugs....stds..the boomers are this nations worst generation in this countries history. The Boomers are the most selfish generation who have ruined this nation. And Generation X and primarily Y have to solve all the problems

Correction Boomers did not start much of what they take credit for. The Civil Rights movement, that was headed by the Silent Generation i.e. MLK Jr. was a member of the Silent Generation. Boomers just think they are great, and are too self-involved to ever think otherwise.
