no one that has 2000 acres would run a four row...everyone that i know in my area of central iowa with 2000 acres runs a 12 row or 2 eight rows if they have that much ground

Um...Any where from $1500 to $5000. Only place I can tell you to look is Tractor house or Frontline Magazines.

The Silver seeders. The L2 actually aren't to bad. The got bad when they went to that stupid side rotor thing.

We had a gleaner L and it was the biggest piece of shit !! They were fixing it more than combining with it !

gleaners are garbage biggest pieces of shit ever. i wouldnt even stand on one for fear of death..... i guess if thats all the more money you have and you only cut 2000 acres a year they work.... somtimes.

So why on the other video did you post a comment saying you have 3 9870's with 36 foot headers on them. Sounds to me like your pulling shit out of your ass. You probably run a 6600 and are jelous of these gleaners. Keep dreaming looser.

hey nbreitbach thos two combines are one of the best made and i still use L2's i like the f series two and they are not "silver seeder bering eaters" and there not a peice of shit gleaner still makes the best machine around.

> pard75 said on 12-06-2008 at 04:15:
My comment was not left for you, it was left for "nbreitbach" look at his comment from a month or so ago. Sorry for the confusion.

> notebookmania said on 12-06-2008 at 03:53:
what is nasty about my comment? i was simply just telling them what kind of equipment we use and that it is better than what they use. what is wrong with that??

My grandpa had the ORIGINAL...F Gleaner. Not F1, F2, or L series, Just "F". That thing is long gone in some scrap yard though now... RIP

Long live Allis-Chalmers.

> pard75 said on 11-13-2008 at 19:24:
Why leave a nasty comment like that? What ever happened to if you can't say anything nice don't say nothing?

pretty cool video. we farm in western KY and we are currently running a case 2588 and two 8010's. were cuttin beans right now, the 2588 has a 30ft draper on it and the two 8010's are pushin 40ft drapers. along with two 1000 bu. unverferth auger wagons behind 305's and 6 KW's with Wilson hopper bottoms

> rborneman said on 10-21-2008 at 00:36:
cool video, the f2 is a great corn combine, our f2 corn machine is quite similar to yours.

i disagree, the JD does suck, the IH is all right, but the gleaner is the champ as far as efficiency/productivity. fuel efficiency has always been good on gleaner, and the large bins keep you from having to unload as often. (this argument is void when a grain cart is factored in, but unloading on the go takes power, power takes fuel!)
