i dont know about most of yall, but i came up listening and studying the rap game, when lil wayne started, he made music he liked, then a few years back when he really blew up, he was on bet and said him self that he stopped making music that sounded good to him and started making music that the people wanted. i still dont know what people he is talkin about, but they exist somewhere and they keep buyin his shit lol.

Waynes company most likely bought half of his records, in the 1st week it was 1.1 million, but then the next it dropped nearly 70% to 300,000 something copies. No one sells "a millie" the 1st week then drops to 300,000 thousand in a week. There are way more the 100 million rap listeners out there, if his album was truely that good it would have sold a million the 1st then by the 6 or 7 month hit 300000, ppl realized it was not that good so they didn't buy it or just download 1 or 2 songs.

It's music they get into from being drunk in clubs and they feel it and it reminds them of their night out. These little kids have been hypnotised into this garbage music because it's on the charts all the time so they adapt because everyone else is listening to it and if they don't they're left out and seen as a nerd. Why does eveyone think he sounds like eminem? His voice isnt even close to em's. And how can you even compare the two?
