My wife suffered ABI in Tampa, FL in Jan. 2001 when a car was started in gear by our niece, that she was standing behind. The car lurched, knocked her down and compressed her for the time it took paramedics to get her from under the car. It's been 8 years and a week now and I'm still with her, 100% of the time. I've given up my career to care and give her support. This changes the lives of not only you but all around you. Good luck and I hope your family stays behind you--unlike ours did.
