Python is a server side scripting language, I hear they make pretty heavy use of it at Google, they also use C++ and Java (urgh)

@herriot12345 Because it just showed "good" right before it. Look again it shows "good" then "evil" as part of a product design flow chart or something.... not creepy.

The informal slogan of Google is 'Don't be evil'.

Amazing Google, thanks for all that you do well. If you ever make the mistakes of other large corp. that started from grass roots dreamers then you deserve to go out in the same way. NEVER EVER FORGET where you came from. Never forget the mistakes of others that doomed their corporations. Until you screw it up keep it up. Thanks GOOGLE

uh, work at google is new new brainers. So the structure mimics a lot the chaos from what you remember in the colleges.30+ probably would not prefer it, or I am too old?

Secondly, it's basically the largest (or one of the largest...I don't keep up with that stuff regularly) search engines in the world. That's all it has going for it, really. That's all the average person knows about them, other than the recent acquirements of a few other companies, which most people aren't aware about anyway. I'd much rather be able to say, "My company truly helps people for a good cause" instead of "my company is one of the world's largest and is money hungry."

Actually, I don't see what all the fuss is about or why anyone would actually *want* to work at Google. Same pay rates as other various careers at smaller companies with less stress, less goals, etc. They left out the part of the screaming executives bashing on employees on a daily basis to make near-impossible goals possible - which is how all Corporate America is run. Every company that I've "wanted so badly to work at"...when I actually got in the door, was vastly different.

@jmr1068204 yes but do you work at google? which is really known to be very different? (and I heard from someone who actually works there as a senior architect) It's an ad of course they will say nice things but when you work at Google, what else you got to prove?
