I love this song sung by him! I reallly wanted him to win! he was wonderful. Each day bbefore class started we would ntalk about american isol. Who you wanted to win Or who you thought was going to get voted off. I was sad to see him go. Im happy for david cook But his career isnt taking off.

Agree about his tour performances. As an Iz fan, I was interested to hear JCs take on the song & whilst this at the time, was pleasant & refreshing for the show, his tour versions are fkn remarkable. Sure & souful, wisftul but his voice so much thicker & more powerful. The improvement is astounding. Cant remember which stop it is but there is one in particular where he really sings the hell out of the song. It was really enthralling, man Im not even exaggerating, I got chills all over.

Dude did indeed find his voice on the show. Whilst the 11 other contestants (-Mulaby) had truckloads of professional singing experience (TV shows/gigs/albums) and knowledge in the music bizz, drummer-boy Castro who had only sang in front of his family for the first time in public before the show a mere 5 times, risked his inexperience to audition for this quick-passing cheesy karaoke show - and it payed off. He has a really good solid fanbase and an album coming out.

I remember watching this with my family. They are stupid loud but Jason shut them up for a good 1:40 mins, lol. It was just such a captivating performance at the time but looking back at this and comparing it to his tour performances, he has improved so fucking much it's insane. Didn't M Orland say Jason found his voice on the show? Incredible. Love Cassidy and Iz's versions too.
