I really love this song! It's a beautiful melody and a weird lyric but I can't understand why it's so heartbreaking. xD It makes me cry sometimes but I never know why! But that's why I love this song. ;) You don't need a reason to cry! Alice Cooper really knows what he's doing, his songs take my breath away! And I'm serious!

After hearing this song and also knowing that Desperado was written as a tribute to Jim Morrison,i think Alice should do some Doors covers.

This song reminds me of The Ballad of Dwight Frye but it's a different album.

Alice is cool as hell...I love the Judy Garland reference. That boy was one violent fag. Best from Alice in a long time

There has never been anyone nor will there ever be anyone to match Alice for versatility and sheer utter brilliance. I've been a fan since 72 and I love him still. This song is funny, beautiful and heartbreaking. Look how he's kept his stage persona completely separate from his real self so that the horror is never horrific, if you follow. Alice is never revolting, unlike Marilyn Manson and Gary Glitter! Love to all AC fans XX

i'm a huge cooper fan, and i have to be honest. i think this album is the closest he came to classic coop ( goes to hell / lace and whisky ) era hes ever gotten. he really showed character on this album...this song for instance...by the way i think i like this album better then spider

He is the KING!!! The EMPEROR!!! I hope radio stations will air his forthcoming album : I'm sure people will know and love him again, like in 1986 when he came back with 'Constrictor'
