I remember there was an International store in Boston, In Straight Bargate, back in the early '70s when I was about 4, I think it became Liptons and then something else, these days New Look stands on that site.

there used to be a international supermarket in the 1970s on kilburn high road, where the Argos shop now is...then it became price right, then came argos around 1979 or 1980?does anyone else remember that?oh how i loved television in the 70s...never owned a vcr till the late 1980s. i hated animal quackers...i remember it replaced some other programme.
