Imagine an email from your doctor: "Yur apendix needs 2 come out, c me". I'd be looking for a different doctor, and not for a second opinion either.

Precisely; as would most intelligent adults.

I can't help but wonder, if someone can't even be bothered to spell out simple words such as "you" and "are", what other tasks would they find too "troublesome" to perform?

Unfortunate. And the thing of it is, if a person were to say, "Yeah, I type like this because I just don't give a shit", I would totally accept that and say, "Good for you, fight the man, go with God". Defending it as though it's an acceptable method of general communication besides the "I just can't be bothered to pay attention", however, is just irksome. But, as a writer, I've always been a bit of a grammar nazi. I've made my peace with it.

There would definitely be disciplinary action as a result. Thank you for your comment. Too bad the people who disagree will never understand.

Well, one last thing, I'm aware that I made a typo. I'm not going to make an excuse. It happens.

Having said that, though, I refuse to get sucked into a mud-slinging session by those with differing opinions, therefore this is the last I will say on the subject.

I agree with you, Jeff. If you are an adult and have a least a seventh grade education, there is no excuse for poor grammar. None whatsoever. Admitting that's it's a detriment and then insisting it isn't is just irrational. People who are successful or influencial do not use lazy spelling. If one were to send a memo to one's boss in lazy spelling, there would probably be a disciplinary action. I, and most people I know, detest lazy spelling. It makes it seem that it's okay to cut corners.

Obviously you FOOLS have still been debating this while I was out of town. My statement stands. Proper spelling will always and forever be preferred over lazy spelling. Ask any English professor if you still have any doubts. Unless you're afraid to admit that you're wrong. Until then, do me a favor and stop wasting my time.

LMFAO @ the complete douches arguing with each other on a YouTube message board. Hahaha, you try to "outwit" a complete stranger but end up looking like a fool to any observer. I hope whoever 'wins' feels good about their meaningless victory, LOL. Wanks.

Panda, I agree with you completely. Ignore this fool Jeff and don't let him get you down. He is just an insignificant, angry person who wants to start a fight. You can talk however you want.

Jeff, you are an intense moron. there is nothing wrong with Lazy Spelling. You do have a point about how you wouldn't find a resume with Lazy Spelling but that still doesn't make it incorrect. If that was true, then a lot of things in the English language would have to be changed, perhaps the English language itself! You won't find the word "Don't", or other abbreviated words in the dictonary, but they are, infact, words. Life is too short to waste time complaining about they way others talk.

and what were these questions? i have asked you plenty of questions that you have chosen to ignore, and if this generation is in trouble it is because of the way your generation left the world and tried to raise the next.

I asked you a couple of simple, clear, concise yes-or-no questions and you chose to ignore them. That speaks volumes right there and tells me all I need to know about you. It is truly sad that you are unsure enough about where you stand to answer a couple of questions that require a simple yes or no. It is clear that with people like you at the helm, the next generation is in deep trouble. i am through with you.
