Porsche 911 has impressive performance figures but is it faster arond Nurburgring than Nissan GTR? Porsche is more lighter and more powerfull but is it enough...

What Porsche has been doing, for a long time, was to implement the mechanical innovations first (since they are the FOUNDATION to the car's performance) before integrating them with the electronics. This is the way to compete with cars like the Nissan GT-R rather than get too 'electrical'. With this in mind, for the next generation 911, it may have launch control and/or a mild hybrid system for better speed and fuel efficiency, if it runs out of mechanical ideas.
